The Bloom Consort is a 9-member vocal ensemble from the Philadelphia area that has performed acapella Renaissance music in costume for more than a decade. Our repertoire includes music in English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, and Latin, and the mood ranges from serious to silly, with an occasional surprise.
We have appeared at venues such as the Pennsylvania, Maryland, and NJ Renaissance Faires; the Free Library of Philadelphia; the Philadelphia Museum of Art; various First Night Festivals; and churches and retirement communities in the Philadelphia area and beyond.
We can perform concerts of up to 90 minutes, including holiday/Christmas programs, or provide background music or sacred music for services. We’d love to tailor-make a performance for you!
